At Simon\u2019s place I noticed a copy of <em>Cottage<\/em> magazine lying on his coffee table\u2014replete with a cover feature on the new <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fay_hut\" target=\"_blank\">Fay Hut<\/a> in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kootenay_National_Park\" target=\"_blank\">Kootenay National Park<\/a> that Simon designed (as a volunteer) for the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alpine_Club_of_Canada\" target=\"_blank\">Alpine Club of Canada<\/a>\u2014to replace the original built in 1927 after it burned down in 2003.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>Top photo by Matt J.
