Reimer, a remarkable \u201cecstatic depressive\u201d (his self-description) bard living in Vancouver. Our aim is to have the book on shelves by May\u2026 Here\u2019s a taste test:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\"><em><strong>Impression: Along Molson Way<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\"><em>On the other side of this chain-link fence<br \/>\n<\/em>along the tracks,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">blackberries,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">daisies,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">&amp; morning-glories run in packs;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">plethoras of thorns &amp; unkempt petals,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">pretty poisons<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">&amp; tongues of dust-green leaves ply the ravine;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\"><em>wilding as well Long tall grasses<br \/>\n<\/em>ivies<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">&amp; ferns deceptively indelicate &amp;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">dense-pack blocks of blackberry brambles<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">bully everything else off the would-be boulevard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\"><em>Give the earth just a crack at the city<br \/>\n<\/em>&amp; gardens grow in gangs,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">daisies<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffcc99;\">&amp; morning-glories run in packs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>. . . . .<\/p>\n<p>\u00a92008 Sam W.
