You will see a green dot circling between the pink dots\u2026 pretty cool, eh? Keep looking at the \u201c+\u201d sign for a while longer\u2026 the pink dots eventually disappear. <em>(Cool becomes freaky).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">I\u2019m somewhat of a fan of whacky visual phenomena (witness past posts such as <a style=\"color: #999999;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.robertlpeters.com\/news\/?p=564\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a>, <a style=\"color: #999999;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.robertlpeters.com\/news\/?p=1337\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a>, and <a style=\"color: #999999;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.robertlpeters.com\/news\/?p=165\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a>). Though I have encountered the above example before, I stumbled across it again today on Eric Karjaluoto\u2019s fine blog, <a style=\"color: #999999;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ideasonideas.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. (There is a Wikipedia entry that attempts to explain: <a style=\"color: #999999;\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lilac_chaser\" target=\"_blank\">Lilac Chaser<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WTF?
